The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway will be held on June 1, the earliest date on the schedule since Cup racing began at the superspeedway in 2021. The race will be part of a doubleheader weekend with the NTT IndyCar Series, marking the first time the two series have raced on the same weekend at Nashville Superspeedway.

The move to an earlier date is expected to improve weather conditions for the race and attract more fans. The race was previously held in late June or early July, when temperatures can reach into the 90s and humidity can be high. The earlier date will also allow fans to avoid conflicts with other major events in the Nashville area, such as the CMA Music Festival and Bonnaroo.

"We're excited to announce the new date for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway," said track president Erik Moses. "We believe that this earlier date will provide a better experience for our fans and create a more competitive race on the track."

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway will be the fourth Cup race held at the track. The inaugural race in 2021 was won by Kyle Larson, followed by Chase Elliott in 2022 and Ross Chastain in 2023.

Tickets for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway will go on sale later this year.
