Ant McPartlin welcomes first child with wife Anne-Marie Corbett
Television presenter Anthony McPartlin, 48, has just announced the joyful news he has become a first-time father.
Ant and Dec have worked together since 1988.
Ant McPartlin has announced he welcomed his first child with wife Anne-Marie Corbett. The television presenter, 48, shared the happy news on social media on Tuesday (May 15).
"Our beautiful baby girl arrived on Sunday," he wrote. "Mum and baby are both doing well. I am so, so grateful and beyond proud of Anne-Marie and the amazing team at the hospital."
The couple married in a star-studded ceremony in Hampshire in August 2021. Anne-Marie is Ant's second wife, following his split from Lisa Armstrong in 2018.
Ant's best friend and presenting partner Declan Donnelly was among the first to congratulate the couple. "I'm so thrilled for Ant and Anne-Marie," he said. "They are going to be amazing parents."
Ant and Dec are one of the most popular presenting duos on British television. They have worked together since 1988, when they starred in the children's show Byker Grove.
The pair have since gone on to host a number of hit shows, including I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and Saturday Night Takeaway.
