The Mutua Madrid Open is an ATP Masters 1000 tennis tournament held yearly in Madrid, Spain. The tournament was first played in 2002 and has been contested on clay courts since its inception. The event is held at the Caja Magica, a tennis complex located in the Madrid suburb of Fuencarral-El Pardo.
The Mutua Madrid Open is one of the most prestigious clay-court tournaments in the world and attracts some of the best players in the game. The tournament has been won by some of the biggest names in tennis, including Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer.
